THE SORCERERS APPRENTICE

by Anthony Peters
music by Mark Ponsford

A wizard new pantomime!

The Rat Army are threatening to attack Conjury Castle. The Sorcerer needs all the help he can get, but Billy isn't exactly what he had in mind! Enter a world of magic spells, an enchanted castle, surprises and
mishaps; as Billy and Presto the Cat battle to save the Sorcerer and stop the evil King Rat.

Join a cast of exciting characters and magical animals, in a production that includes great comedy, catchy songs, music, dance, and colourful scenery. With lots of audience participation you can sing along with the songs, laugh at the comic action, cheer our hero and boo the villains.
We guarantee a great time for all the family.

As usual, the small cast is a solid unit, working together to create an instant bond with an audience quickly drawn into their magical world. This is evident from the opening moments when a recruiting drive begins to raise the Rat Army. From then on the fun-filled plot races through a jumble of set pieces which involve, among other thing, attacking a castle, a haunted room, sing songs, puppets and in hilarious performance from Xavier Williams as an Elvis style King Rat, who gets the whole venue rocking with a hip swinging rendition of 'Burning Love.' Children and adults alike emerge with the feelgood factor.
