ROMEO AND JULIET

Combining Shakespeare’s text with simplified passages.

AN ELIZABETHAN EXPERIENCE
An Italian carnival atmosphere with masks and masquerade is created by our troupe of actors. The production concentrates on the conflict between two families, with exciting fight scenes in a strongly physical, action packed theatrical event.

A PARTICIPATORY PRODUCTION
This involving and participatory production will include a short INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP, which will allow us involve children in the opening party scene, and to divide the audience into Montagues and Capulets.

NATIONAL CURRICULUM
The production is related to the requirements of the National Curriculum Key Stage 2. in the subjects of English and History.
